Please note

There are two classes of CIPA Members:

1. Regular members are people interested in CIPA activities and will receive regular information about the activities of the CIPA HD Committee. They have free access to the website resources (free books, papers, etc.). Their contacts can be published, on request, on the CIPA web site.

ICOMOS Emerging Professionals are welcomed as regular members. Based on the ICOMOS ADCOM 201 8 /12 /05, ‘Emerging Professional’ (EP) means ICOMOS individual members who: (1) Have less than 15 years total educational and/or professional experience, in a field related to the aims defined in Article 3 of ICOMOS Statutes, and (2) Are seeking to build up interest and expertise in the field.

2. Expert members are people which demonstrate high professional and research activities in the field of cultural heritage documentation. To be considered as an Expert Member, it is expected over the past years to have been actively involved in activities or projects of CIPA-HD, like attending the summer schools, contributing to conferences, and/or publishing in the proceedings. Also active involvement with (one of) our parent organisations ICOMOS and ISPRS is considered important. To be accepted as an expert member, you also have to:

  1. send us a motivation letter;
  2. be (come) a member of ICOMOS and prove it by providing your membership number.
