From the 23rd of July to the 1st of August 2018, the Polytechnic University of Milan (Italy) organises its 7th summer school on surveying cultural heritage. This course, which takes place at the Sacred Mount Calvary of Domodossola in Italy, will allow students to get into contact with the practical and theoretical aspects of documenting and managing cultural heritage. Although this summer school is not organised by CIPA, many of the tutors also teach during the annual CIPA summer schools.
CIPA is happy to announce its 5th Heritage Documentation Summer School on “Cultural Heritage 3D Surveying and Modelling” which will take place from 15-21 July 2018 in Zadar, Croatia. As with the past four editions, this summer school will consist of theoretical lectures (on photogrammetry/computer vision, laser scanning, photography and total station survey) and practical work, in the field and in the lab.
CIPA wants to draw your attention to the newly established Tech4Culture, a doctoral programme that is specifically focused on technologies applied to cultural heritage. The program is organised by the University of Torino (Italy), with the support of the European Commission and the banking foundation Compagnia di San Paolo. All information about Tech4Culutre can be found on the official webpage.
